Journal staff The Sarnia Sting snapped a seven-game losing streak following a thrilling 4-3 overtime win against the Brantford Bulldogs at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena, Friday.

After taking home the Essa Eagles AA Tournament Championship a month ago, the U12 A/AA Sarnia Jr. Sting travelled to Detroit and secured the victory for Team Canada in the CCM Nations Cup Final. The Sting went undefeated through the round robin.

This past weekend, the U13 Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting won the championship at the Mississauga Hurricanes Winter Classic.
