Sebastian Smith nails a jump at the LSSAA track and field championships that began Tuesday at LCCVI in Petrolia. Smith cleared 6.37 metres to win the junior boys long jump, and 185 centimetres to win the high jump competition.

The Valhalla Major Bantam (Grade 8) boys’ basketball team was victorious at the Ontario Cup tournament in Toronto April 26-27. Valhalla claimed the gold medal by defeating Hamilton Blessed Sacrament 34-29 in the final.
