Stop using the words “chemical valley”

Mike writes in asking readers to stop using the term “chemical valley” when describing the local oil industry.

Please stop using the words “chemical valley“ when describing our industry.

First of all, there is no valley.
Secondly, why would any community call itself such a vulgar name.

No one who lives in this town, surrounded by the blue coast line should use this derogatory words.
