Community invited to learn about Lodge expansion

The Inn of the Good Shepherd is hosting an open house to discuss plans for expanded emergency shelter beds in the region.

Community members are invited to drop in and learn about the expansion of The Lodge, an emergency shelter serving Sarnia-Lambton, at an open house. 

The event takes place Thursday, Sep. 17, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 970 Confederation St.

Representatives from The Inn and the County of Lambton will be on hand to discuss the project, which is designed to address a documented need for additional permanent shelter beds identified in Lambton County's 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan.

Attendees will learn about the expansion's scope, timeline, and funding sources. The event is drop-in, so no appointment is necessary.
