Peacefully surrounded by loving family Tuesday June 2, 2026, at Trillium Villa, Eleatha Wright passed away at age 91.

Loving mother of Monica Lawrence, Norma Davis (Desmond), Oral Fraser (Mandy), Everton Fraser, Lavern Fraser-Hines (Greg). Grandmother to 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Treasured sister of Hyacinth McLeod, Theodore Wright, and Daphne Wright. Predeceased by parents Alkena and Isadora Wright, brothers Lesley and Dudley Wright sister Dorett Wright and son Dainsley Fraser.

She was a seamstress before immigrating to Canada. She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed gardening. Most of all she was always a devoted selfless mother who sacrificed for her children and grandchildren. She nurtured them and was always steadfast in her support.

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service being held at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be at Lakeview Cemetery immediately following the service.
