*A Celebration of Norma's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18 in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 from 11:30am until 3pm.*
With heavy hearts we announce that Norma Elizabeth Millward, left us peacefully to be reunited with her beloved husband Don ‘Penore’ Millward on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the age of 91. She will be remembered as the loving mother of Robert (Debbie) Neve and the late Gord, Larry, Patricia and James Neve. Cherished grandmother of Todd, Trevor, Jason, Sara, Jennifer, Michael, Stephanie, Mike and great grandmother of 11. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Ethel Babcock and dear sister of Julia Ansell (Bill) and the late Joe Babcock, Mary Ellen Flieler, Eddie Flieler, Gladys McAllister, George (Brenda) Babcock, Barbara Eveson, Bonnie Irwin, Bob Babcock, Shelia Noyle (Bob surviving) and Irene Kring. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Norma was very active throughout her life, participating in many groups and activities including Golf, Bowling, being a proud member of the Red Hat Ladies and participating in the Senior Olympics. Norma's love for knitting and crocheting throughout her life kept her hands busy making many sweaters and baby outfits, afghans and hats for the less fortunate in the community. In honour of her being a life-long member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Wallaceburg, her family would like you to consider supporting Branch 18 by making a donation in her memory. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
