On Monday, June 2nd, surrounded by his loving family, Peter Emsley Green passed away at the age of 80, at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia. Devoted husband of Patricia Green for 55 years, and loving father to Sasha, Michael (Anita) and Emily Lucchese (Greg). Cherished Poppa to Desmond and Archer Lucchese. Predeceased by his parents, Lilian and Sidney Green and his bother Norman. Survived by his sister Carol Randall (Charles). Peter was born in Hatfield England, arrived in Toronto in 1966 and moved to Sarnia in 1969. He retired from Cabot Canada after 29 years of service. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, who took such excellent care of Peter during the last week of his life. Special thanks, to Dr. Lebert, Dr. Kim, Dr. MacSweeney and the VON Nurses. As per Peter’s wishes, there will be no funeral and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
