Peacefully, on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, William Dimetrie Garrick passed away at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Mary Garrick. Loving father of Bill (Clair) Garrick. Predeceased by his granddaughter Christy Lee Petschke (nee Garrick). William will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and being at his cottage surrounded by water and nature. As a young man, he first started working at the mill up north in the Bruce-this started his passion for the outdoors. Later, he worked at a lumber yard followed by a lengthy career at the Bluewater Bridge as the toll supervisor. In keeping with William’s wishes, a private graveside will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a charity of choice (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements en-trusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
