It is with sadness as well as relief that we share the peaceful passing of Bert Corvers, who passed away surrounded by his family, on Monday, March 17th. Bert is survived by his loving wife, Anne; sons David (Julia) and Eric (Roxanne), brother Pete (Barb); sister Ann (the late Bruce); and five grandchildren Nathan, Lia, Michael, Channa and Gage. Bert was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth (Brad).
Bert will be remembered for being “Bert” and all the life lessons he gave to all that knew him. In honour of Bert’s lifelong enjoyment of music, we invite you to put your phone down, turn off the TV, and please play a song that reminds you of Bert and reflect upon what he meant to you.
Bert’s family would like to express deep gratitude to the staff of the Bluewater Health Palliative Unit and the MAID initiative for their compassionate care and support.
