United Way campaign: Week 11

Journal staff The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton’s 2023 campaign is still slightly ahead of last year’s pace, with $900,000 raised so far. Now in its 11th week (of 14), the campaign has raised 66% of its $1.4 million goal.

The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton’s 2023 campaign is still slightly ahead of last year’s pace, with $900,000 raised so far.

Now in its 11th week (of 14), the campaign has raised 66% of its $1.4 million goal.

Some campaign updates from executive director Dave Brown:

• There have been more than 1,875 donors to date
• Imperial employees’ campaign raised $345,000
• The Lambton Kent District School Board is in the final week of their campaign.
• Lambton College has already surpassed last year’s total
• NOVA Chemicals has wrapped up its campaign
• Residents can purchase gift baskets handmade by the Dante Club and Front Street Heat hot sauce from the United Way website
