Rose Gardens Reunion to honour Dick and Elsie Rose at Canatara Park

A reunion honouring Dick and Elsie Rose will be held August 14, 2026 at Canatara Park, 1200 Lakeshore Rd., Sarnia, bringing together former patrons of the Rose Gardens roller rink for an afternoon of memories, pizza and refreshments.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kiwanis Pavilion, near the Animal Farm in Canatara Park. It is hosted by Marilyn Rose Craig and held in memory of Jack Craig and fellow skaters.

Rose Gardens was a fixture of the local roller skating scene, and the reunion invites those who remember it to reconnect and share stories from its heyday.
