Lambton County Library introduces new catalogue and mobile app
Library users can look for a new mobile app and redesigned account tools, including digital cards and optional text alerts for holds.

Lambton County Library users are getting a new online catalogue and mobile app as the library updates its digital borrowing tools.
The county scheduled the catalogue and cardholder account changes for Wednesday, Nov. 4, according to its October service update.
The new app is intended to let users manage their library accounts on a phone. Optional features include digital library cards and text alerts for holds and updates.
The county says users can search for “Lambton County Library” in the Android or Apple app store starting Nov. 4.
The library’s website now welcomes visitors to its redesigned site and links users to the new online catalogue and account service.
The website also provides branch locations and hours, program listings and information about borrowing physical and digital materials.
Cardholders who need help finding the new tools can use the website’s Ask a Librarian service or contact their local branch.
