With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jacob James Kelly-Routley, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 25.

Jacob was a sweet, inquisitive, and gentle soul with a brilliant, analytical mind. Genuine and kind to everyone he met, Jacob had a quiet warmth about him that made him truly special to those who knew and loved him.

Jacob had a natural talent for computers, particularly game design. He enjoyed cooking meals for his family, spending time in nature, and listening to rap music, especially Eminem. He loved watching Star Wars, Dexter, and The Walking Dead. Some of his happiest memories were made riding ATVs and playing airsoft with his dad and brothers. Above all, Jacob treasured time spent with his big sister, brothers and Gam Gam, sharing laughter, adventures, and the simple moments that meant so much.

Jacob was the beloved eldest son of James Routley (Aleka) and Kimberley Kelly. Cherished brother of Michelle (Darryl), Ethan, Gabriel, Tori, and Roman. Jacob will also be lovingly remembered by his grandparents Shirley (Larry) and Patricia (Robert), uncle Herb, aunt Tracy, cousins Travis and Sandra (Travis) and nephews Wyatt and Jagger.

A Celebration of Jacob’s Life will be held in the spring of 2027, with details to be shared at a later date.

In memory of Jacob, donations may be made to a mental health organization of your choice.
