Bluewater Health Foundation has put tickets on sale for its 32nd annual Dream Home Lottery, tying this year’s proceeds to diagnostic imaging and the redevelopment of Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital of Bluewater Health in Petrolia.

The grand prize is a furnished bungalow at 3504 Paul Crescent in Camlachie’s Errol Wood subdivision. The foundation values the prize at $1.19 million — a $1.1-million house plus $90,000 in furnishings, appliances, electronics and décor — or $1 million in cash.

The house, marketed as The Castello, is an 1,867-square-foot bungalow built by Iacobelli Construction, with design by T. Bouma Design & Drafting. The main floor has two bedrooms, including a primary suite with a five-piece ensuite. A finished lower level adds two more bedrooms, a recreation room and a bar. Open houses start Saturday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m., then continue Saturdays and Sundays through the campaign.

Kathy Alexander, executive director of Bluewater Health Foundation, said the lottery is now in its fourth decade. “Every ticket purchased is ultimately an investment in local healthcare,” she said. “This year, that support will help advance two important priorities for our community — Diagnostic Imaging and the redevelopment of CEEH.”

The foundation says the lottery has raised more than $11 million since it began. That figure has climbed from the more than $10 million reported when the 30th-anniversary winners were announced in 2025. Last year’s 31st lottery, whose $1.46-million Sarnia house was unveiled in September 2025, sent the grand prize to a Petrolia couple.

Those dollars exist because Ontario hospitals still lean on community fundraising for equipment and the local share of capital projects. Bluewater Health president and CEO Paula Reaume-Zimmer framed this year’s campaign around imaging and the Petrolia site. “Diagnostic Imaging plays an essential role across so many areas of patient care, while the redevelopment of CEEH represents an important investment in the future of rural healthcare in Petrolia and surrounding communities,” she said.

The foundation amalgamated with the former CEEH Foundation in April 2026. Hospital and foundation materials describe a multi-year emergency-department and diagnostic-imaging rebuild at the Petrolia hospital, with a $5-million local share for equipment and furnishings. The foundation has said about $2 million of that local share was already in hand before this lottery launched. The province and hospital cover the larger construction budget; the lottery is one of the tools used to close the community portion.

The 2027 prize board lists 11,118 fixed prizes valued at more than $1.7 million, plus a Dream 50/50 with a guaranteed $150,000 pot (the winner takes half of the final jackpot) and a Dream Calendar with 45 cash prizes totalling $116,000. Other advertised draws include a $10,000 “Everyday Essentials for a Year” prize for tickets bought by Oct. 21, 2026; a $15,000 “Your Dream. Your Choice” prize by Nov. 25, 2026; and a 2026 BMW X1 xDrive28i valued at $60,000, or $45,000 cash, for tickets bought by Jan. 13, 2027.

Dream Home tickets are sold two for $50, six for $100, 16 for $250 or 35 for $375, with bundle packages that add 50/50 and calendar tickets. The last day to buy Dream Home tickets is Feb. 10, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. The grand-prize draw is scheduled for Feb. 25, 2027, at 10 a.m.

Tickets are sold at bwhfdreamhome.com, by phone at 1-844-667-3251, at open houses, and at the foundation office, 89 Norman St., Sarnia. Licences listed in the release are RAF1574946 (Dream Home), RAF1574943 (50/50) and RAF1574944 (calendar).
