William “Rick” Richard Tierney

Surrounded by loving family on October 28, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Rick Tierney passed away at the age of 88. Predeceased by his parents Alan and Florance, his siblings Gary and Faye, his loving spouse Patricia, his daughter Richelle and by his grandson Timothy. Survived by his daughters Robin (Blues), Lisa (Rick), grandchildren Tara and Riley, great grandchildren Mya and Matilda, and many nieces and nephews.

Rick was a longtime member of Local 663 and was involved in many community programs including being a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Sarnia. Richard will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospice for the care he and his family received. Rick was treated with dignity and respect throughout his final days.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place and Rick will be interred in a family plot in Pembroke Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the St. Jospeh’s Hospice Recourse Centre of Sarnia Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).
