MOFFITT, Ray

Ray Moffitt, beloved husband and father, passed away on August 10, 2026. He leaves behind his wife Marie Labelle, his children Jeanna (Carl) and Scott (Christine), and his stepson Kenneth Blackburn. Ray will also be dearly remembered by his grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great grandchild, and all whose
lives were made better by knowing him. His memory will be cherished by his sister Helen (Neil) and his sisterinlaw Carol Foster. Ray spent his early years pursuing his hockey dream while working as a field engineer, later becoming a variety store owner. When he could no longer keep pace on the ice, he found joy in tennis, golf, and curling, embracing each with the same spirit he brought to every part of his life. 

Cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at Tam Heather Curling and Tennis Club, Scarborough, Ontario, on September 12, 2026, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
