It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Raymond Maleszyk announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the age of 62. Ray will be remembered by his beloved wife of just shy of 35 years Norah, children Christian (Vanessa), Miranda (Chris), Matthew and Jacob, grandchildren Lincoln, Jaxon, Willow and Wyatt, sister Christine, and his golden retrievers Riley and Blake. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Emilia Maleszyk and brother Stanley.
Ray had many interests, including spending time in Muskoka and Haliburton’s at the family cottages, quilting for causes he cared about and those he loved dearly, and cars, especially 1967 Mustangs. Ray had a strong relationship with his Lord and enjoyed Christian music and reading his Bible. He was a friend to everyone he met, and the most important person in the room was the one standing in front of him. Ray was generous and loved to tell a story while spending time with his family and friends.
Ray’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hall, Dr. Tsvetkova, Dr. MacSweeney, and Bluewater Health Palliative Care Team for their compassion and guidance.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Sarnia, on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
