It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Stuart Spencer Hazzard, at the age of 75, on August 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.

Born on March 18, 1951, Stu lived a full and meaningful life. A proud and devoted father, he enjoyed spending his days reading, writing, cooking, and, most of all, laughing and sharing time with his family.

Stu shared 45 wonderful years with his best friend and partner, Bev. He was the cherished father of Amy (Paul) and Katie (Darren). He was predeceased by his stepson, Adam; his parents, Jack and Dana; and his brother, Russell (Yvette).

Stu is survived by his sister, Daryl (Tom), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Intensive Care Unit at Bluewater Health for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stu’s memory to the Lambton County Library or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
