On November 3, 2026, in the early hours of morning, Gail Vincent Anne passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Lyle Nichols, and loving mother of Corey (Amanda) Nichols and Kim (Kevin) Roantree. Treasured grandma of Jacob (Nicole) Nichols, Logan (Emily) Nichols, Kaitlyn (Josh) Ennett, Michael (Tesza) Roantree, and Andrew (Amanda) Roantree. Special great grandma of Dillon and Rhyan Nichols, Olivia, Tyla, and Maverick Ennett, Myles and Lilly Roantree, and Wes and Jack Roantree. Gail is predeceased by her parents, Zena and Leo Boucher. She will be missed by her brother, Brian (Judy) Boucher, and by all who knew her.

Gail lived for her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved to fill her days with shopping, but particularly shopping for them. She was thoughtful and organized, often enjoying her sudoku and crosswords. Most of all, Gail was incredibly loving, cherishing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and welcoming her children in-law as true family.

Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Gail’s wishes, family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, November 9, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM and a luncheon at the Smith Family Centre.
