Wheels & Wells brings classic cars to Oil Springs
The Oil Museum of Canada is bringing history and horsepower together at the Wheels & Wells Car Show on August 23, featuring classic cars, prizes, and a special display linking Lambton County’s oil heritage to the evolution of the automobile.

The Oil Museum of Canada in Oil Springs will host the Wheels & Wells Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., blending the region’s unique oil industry history with a showcase of classic vehicles.
Car registration begins at 9:30 a.m. by donation, with a suggested contribution of $10 per vehicle. All makes and models are welcome, and admission is free for spectators.
Highlights will include a special display of auto-themed artifacts from the museum’s collection, connecting Lambton County’s oil heritage to the development of the automobile. Visitors can also take part in oil history trivia for prizes, enjoy food and drink on site, and participate in a 50/50 lottery. Awards for show vehicles will be presented at 2 p.m.
“The Wheels & Wells Car Show offers a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else – classic cars displayed at the birthplace of Canada’s oil industry,” said Jessica Stevenson, marketing and events coordinator with the Oil Museum of Canada. “Whether you’re a car enthusiast or history buff, this event has something special to offer.”
The event will go ahead rain or shine. More details are available on the Wheels & Wells Car Show event page at oilmuseum.ca.
