Community Living Sarnia-Lambton will mark its 70th anniversary with an open house Tuesday, Nov. 3, at its activity centre in Sarnia.

The event runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at 1091 Wellington St., with formal remarks and speeches at 5:15 p.m., according to an invitation from the organization.

The non-profit supports people with intellectual disabilities to live, work and participate in their communities. It says the anniversary recognizes seven decades of work alongside individuals, families and community partners to promote inclusion, independence, choice and belonging.

Media attending the celebration will have an opportunity to speak with the organization’s leadership, staff and community members.
