The Sarnia Community Foundation is accepting securities for the $1-million campaign, which supports an expanded library, community room and renovations to Faethorne House.

The Brights Grove library expansion campaign has raised more than $880,000 in pledges and contributions toward its $1-million goal, according to the Sarnia Community Foundation.
In an Oct. 27 release distributed Oct. 30, the foundation said it is accepting donations of securities for the project, adding another way for supporters to contribute.
The foundation said it helped facilitate the campaign’s first donation, a $100,000 contribution from the Sue Park Foundation.
The project includes a new 7,000-square-foot library space, an 800-square-foot community room and renovations to Faethorne House. Gallery in the Grove is to move to the main floor, according to the release.
The foundation says construction is getting underway. Funds collected by the city are held in a reserve account for the library project.
Donors contributing $2,500 or more can be recognized on a donor wall. Naming opportunities are also available for rooms and features, the foundation said.
Project updates and donation information are available at the city’s Brights Grove library project page. Questions about larger gifts or securities donations can be directed to the campaign at [email protected].
