2024 Bluewater Borderfest lineup to include 90s nostalgia, UK rock, and more

Officials with Bluewater Borderfest have announced the Thursday and Friday night concert acts for the 2024 event, and they’re calling it the biggest lineup yet.

The popular annual concert series — which has grown to become the largest three-day music festival in southwestern Ontario — will be held June 20, 21, 22, just in time to kick off the summer.

Thursday’s lineup includes the ‘I love the 90s Tour’ featuring Vanilla Ice, Colour Me Badd, Young MC, C+C Music Factory and others.

“Having a 90s night is something new to us — it’s fun, we think people are going to love it,” said festival organizer Mark Perrin, adding that there’s still more artists to announce for that night.

Friday nights acts include English rock band BUSH, along with Skillet, Saint Asonia and Sarnia’s own Born Riot.

Saturday’s lineup is expected to be announced early next week.

The event, now in its eighth year, has grown to become a summertime favourite for fans in Sarnia and around the world, Perrin added, pointing to nearly 14,000 in attendance last year.

“We have some pretty dedicated fans and followers who have been itching for the lineup to come out,” he said. “And that kind of recognition is fantastic.”
