On October 29, 2026, surrounded by love, Robert James McCann passed away peacefully.

Rob loved playing guitar and jamming with his fellow bandmates. He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands, taking on renovations and repairs around his home and helping friends with theirs. Rob also had a passion for cars and spent time working alongside his father at McCann ESSO on the St. Clair Parkway.

Rob was the loving father of Christal, proud grandfather of Briana, Lyla, and Amelia, and great-grandfather of Alice. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Darlene and Bill.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Bluewater Health, especially Jaz, for their compassion, care, and support.

A private family gathering will be held.

In honour of Rob’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
