MASON, Joseph Dale

Visit the Sarnia Cremation Services website to send your condolences and support.

On September 20, 2026, surrounded by love, Joseph Dale Mason passed away peacefully.

Born and raised in Sarnia, Dale built a life centred around hard work, family, and the things that brought him happiness. He was the proud owner and operator of Ultraguard Security Systems, a business he worked hard to build over many years.

Dale had a true love for sailing and was happiest when he was out on the water. When he wasn’t sailing, he could often be found enjoying a round of golf, another pastime he loved. He also treasured the time he spent in Florida with his wife, Laura, where they enjoyed many wonderful moments and made lasting memories together.

Dale was the beloved husband and best friend of Laura for 17 years. Loving and proud father of Taryn McAlpine and father of Octavia Henstridge. He will also be remembered as stepfather to Mackenzie (Logan), Carson, and Easton.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Bluewater Health, Dr. Lilly, the Palliative Care Team and the Kidney Care Centre for their compassion, care, and support during this time.

A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be announced at a later date.

In honour of Dale’s memory, donations may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton. Family and friends are invited to share a memory, story, or message of condolence on the Tribute Wall.
