About 200 people turned out for a candlelight vigil at the Point Edward Arena on Monday evening to stand in support with the community of Humboldt, Saskatchewan and millions of shocked and grieving Canadians.
Most wore hockey jerseys out of respect for the 15 players and team personnel of the Humboldt Broncos killed in Friday’s bus crash in rural Saskatchewan.
A dozen survivors are still in Saskatoon hospital, including four in critical condition.
The vigil was organized by Point Edward minor hockey.
