Lambton College is hosting a career fair at the Dante Club in Sarnia, Wednesday, for anyone seeking employment opportunities locally.
The event, held in partnership with the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s Bridging Global Talent, takes place Jan. 25 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and will include representatives from multiple sectors including long-term care, food services, administration, agriculture, arts/entertainment/recreation, finance/insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing.
“Hiring managers will be on-site and available to speak with job seekers about upcoming job opportunities,” a Lambton College news release noted. “Organizers are encouraging guests to bring plenty of resumes and dress for success to make a lasting impression with the multiple hiring managers that will be on site.”
Participating businesses include the Canadian Mental Health Association, City of Sarnia, Community Living Sarnia-Lambton, RBC Royal Bank, the Lambton Kent District School Board and more.
An additional ‘Exploring Careers in Long-Term Care’ event will also be taking place, including information sessions highlighting various career opportunities in the long-term care sector.
The event is open to job seekers of all ages.
