Although Ontario has expanded COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to everyone aged 60-plus for a fourth dose, Lambton Public Health’s local rollout is giving priority to residents 80-plus.
The health unit said early booking dates are available for those aged 80+ as well as First Nations Inuit and Metis individuals aged 18 and older.
All other eligible individuals will be able to book appointments at later dates. Additional dates will continue to be added as they are confirmed, the health unit said.
Appointments can be made online at getthevaccine.ca. If you need assistance, the Vaccine Call Centre can be reached at 226-254-8222 Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
High call volumes are expected.
