A family Christmas tradition begun 61 years ago in Froomfield by the late Pat Ryan Sr. and his wife Rose continues to shine brightly this season.
The colourful displays, complete with a talking snowman and dancing elves, have spread to the homes of their neighbouring children, MaryAnn Riley and Dave Tremaine and Gerald and Mel Ryan.
Thousands of bright lights add a festive glow to their short street, Fairview Avenue.
From Dec. 21-23, Santa and his helpers are making a special appearance between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to hand out candy canes and share holiday greetings.
