On behalf of the Sarnia-Lambton Rebound, we are excited to share that the 23rd Annual Hearts for Youth Gala is now live. The event will take place on February 10, 2024, at 6 pm at the Four Points by Sheraton in Point Edward, Ontario.
It’s been 40 years since Rebound opened their doors. Step back in time with Rebound for an exciting 1980's themed event where they’re bringing the groove and all the nostalgia. It’s Rebound’s birthday and they are ready to celebrate!
But they can't do it alone. Rebound relies on the generosity of their community to keep their youth programming running strong. Get ready to rock your finest 80's party-wear because it's time to look back at 40 years of Rebound! Attendees can expect a night filled with a scrumptious buffet dinner, cocktails that'll make you moonwalk, thrilling fundraising activities, exceptional youth performances, and a video dance party brought to you by Ace Entertainment.
Rebound’s Gala isn't just a party; it's an opportunity for local businesses to connect with their community while supporting a fantastic grass-roots youth charity. They are excited to announce that only a few tables remain available. Be sure to be quick to get your tickets now before they are sold out! The agency is beyond grateful to the community of Sarnia-Lambton for showing support towards this event. Rebound’s rich 40-year history of providing award-winning programs and services to youth is just one of the many reasons to gather, dine, dance, and celebrate together.
Rebound is incredibly thankful to its sponsors so far. This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support from the Carpenters Union, Local 1256. Along with other incredible sponsors in the room such as Bluewater Power, CF Industries, Enbridge, Liuna 1089, Local 663, and Wellington Builders.
This event means the world to Rebound as there is limited annualized funding available. Rebound relies heavily on their fundraising efforts and community support. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, Rebound has seen an increase in challenges for young people in Sarnia-Lambton. There is a rising need for the services Rebound provides. The Hearts for Youth Gala goes a long way in supporting programs such as The Hub, Spectrum, Rebound Rocks, Act II, and much more. The staff invites you to join them as they pay tribute to big hair, neon colors, mix tapes, leg warmers, and doing the classic cabbage patch across the dance floor as they celebrate this huge milestone.
Since 2000, Rebound has held its annual gala to raise funds for their programs to support local youth. They have positively supported and served over 40,000 youth throughout Sarnia-Lambton since 1984. Rebound currently operates 18 programs and serves youth between the ages of 8 to 24 with rural offices in Forest and Petrolia.
