The Guelph Storm avoided elimination for the second night in a row with a 3-1 win over the Sarnia Sting at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena, Friday.

The Storm opened the scoring in the second period with a 1-0 lead before Sarnia’s Zach Filak tied it up, with Sarnia’s lone goal of the game.

Guelph would add another in the second, and an empty-netter in the third period to seal the deal.

Game 6 of the OHL Western Conference Quarter-Final playoff series will be in Guelph, Sunday.
