Sting complete trade with Kingston Frontenacs

The Sarnia Sting have acquired defenceman Duncan Schneider from the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for a 7th round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Selection.

Schneider, a 6’1”, 181-pound 18-year-old Belleville, Ontario native has 82 OHL games played with the Frontenacs.

“A reliable defencemen and great linemate,” Sting general manager Dylan Seca said of Schneider. “Solid experience in this league. We’re excited to welcome Duncan and the Schneider family to Sarnia.”

Schneider will make his Sting debut this week. Tickets fo Friday night's home game against the Owen Sound Attack can be purchased online at tickets.sarniasting.com or at the Box Office during regular hours.
