SGCC crowns senior men's, women's champs

Journal staff The Sarnia Golf & Curling Club held its annual Senior Men’s & Women’s Club Championship this week. The 2023 Senior Women’s Club Champion was Gerri Boudreau, with Stableford Points of 42,47, to total 89 points.

The Sarnia Golf & Curling Club held its annual Senior Men’s & Women’s Club Championship this week.

The 2023 Senior Women’s Club Champion was Gerri Boudreau, with Stableford Points of 42,47, to total 89 points.

Women’s 1st Flight winner was Rebecca Brydges with scores of 47,41 (88 points). Women’s 2nd Flight winner was Trish Gogas with scores of 34,32 (66 points). Women’s 3rd Flight winner was Cecile Robb with scores of 35,31 (66 points). Women’s 4th Flight winner was Christine Kirchmair with scores of 26,29 (55 points).

The 2023 Senior Men’s Club Champion was Mike Hobin with stroke play scores of 76,70, totalling 146. 

Men’s 1st Flight winner was John Roman with scores of 71,75 (146). Men’s 2nd Flight winner was Paul Lane with scores of 73,80 (153). Men’s 3rd Flight winner was Jim Goodale with scores of 78,77 (155). Men’s 4th Flight winner was George Bociurko with scores of 78,82 (160). Men’s 5th Flight winner was Cveto Krajnc with scores of 84,79 (163). Men’s 6th Flight winner was Will Barnes with scores of 81,80 (161).
