SGCC crowns senior men's, women's champs

The Sarnia Golf & Curling Club held its annual Senior Men’s & Women’s Club Championship this week.

The 2023 Senior Women’s Club Champion was Gerri Boudreau, with Stableford Points of 42,47, to total 89 points.

Women’s 1^st Flight winner was Rebecca Brydges with scores of 47,41 (88 points). Women’s 2^nd Flight winner was Trish Gogas with scores of 34,32 (66 points). Women’s 3^rd Flight winner was Cecile Robb with scores of 35,31 (66 points). Women’s 4^th Flight winner was Christine Kirchmair with scores of 26,29 (55 points).

The 2023 Senior Men’s Club Champion was Mike Hobin with stroke play scores of 76,70, totalling 146. 

Men’s 1^st Flight winner was John Roman with scores of 71,75 (146). Men’s 2^nd Flight winner was Paul Lane with scores of 73,80 (153). Men’s 3^rd Flight winner was Jim Goodale with scores of 78,77 (155). Men’s 4^th Flight winner was George Bociurko with scores of 78,82 (160). Men’s 5^th Flight winner was Cveto Krajnc with scores of 84,79 (163). Men’s 6^th Flight winner was Will Barnes with scores of 81,80 (161).
