Four people were arrested and a warrant issued for a fifth suspect, following a Napier Street raid in Sarnia last week that led to numerous drugs and weapons charges.
On Friday, Feb. 16, officers with with the criminal investigations division, vice unit and emergency response team conducted a search warrant at 222 Napier Street, a Sarnia Police news release stated.
“The subject of the search warrant was related to firearms related offences,” police said. “Upon entry, officers located a .22 calibre hunting rifle located in close proximity to the front door of the residence. Police also located ammunition, five grams of fentanyl, and seized several hunting rifles from the home.”
Three individuals, ages 18, 70 and 71, face numerous weapons charges; one individual, 18, faces weapons and drugs charges, and a warrant exists for a fifth individual, age 22.
