To all people that drive vehicles, 
Could you please check sidewalks for pedestrians before pulling out of driveways – either residential or commercial?
I know where you have to be is very important, but people walk on the sidewalks. I find more people have to yield to vehicles.
Also, please check the sidewalk to your left before proceeding to turn on a red light. There are pedestrians there with the right of way to cross.
There is not a time I am out walking where I don’t pass another person who says drivers don’t care about pedestrians and I have to agree, having had some close calls myself.
