Peacefully, in her sleep, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at home, Norene Mary Elizabeth Osmon-Desat passed away at the age of 65. Norene is the most Beautiful, Gentle, Loving, Mother of Marla Desat and Michael Desat. Eternally, Beloved wife to John Desat. Norene and John met, fell in love and were married on April 26, 1980. Norene gave John two beautiful children and 44 years of Happiness and Love. Norene will forever, be missed and never forgotten. Dear sister to Steven Osmon of Ridgetown, Stuart Osmon (Beth) of Chatham and Scott Osmon of British Columbia. Predeceased by her father George Robert Osmon and her mother Beverley Jean Elizabeth Osmon.
Norene worked and lived in Sarnia as office assistant and manager, for Steeves & Rozema and Injured Workers in Sarnia always helping people. She also invested time and energy into raising her two children and running a household, she retired from working in 2010 and has spent time reading, gardening and enjoying a relaxing life. The better part of me, is now departed. I will be forever grateful that I met and Married Norene, there are no words to describe how much I miss her. Be At Peace, My Love John
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Norene’s wishes, no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Children’s Make A Wish Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
