Peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Vision Nursing Home, Marjorie Mitchell passed away at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Bud Mitchell (2000). Loving mother of Ginny Richardson and her children John Doby, Corey Graham, Chris Graham, and Justin Graham, Lynn (Steve) Kilbreath and their daughter Stacy Worsley, the late Ron (Wanda) Mitchell (2000) and their son Dustin Mitchell, and by Tammy Mitchell and her daughter Nicole Lancaster. Treasured great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister-in-law of Lillian Skerratt. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Irene Skerratt and by her siblings Kay (Tom) Robertson, Dorothy Wighton, Barb (Don) Bulgin, and Johnny Skerratt. She will be missed by her extended family and by the friends she made at Vision Nursing Home. Marjorie was a talented knitter and crocheter and crafted many pieces that people still enjoy today. She also loved to bowl and when playing got to be too much, she still joined her friends at the alley to enjoy a time of socializing and fun. Marjorie made many friendships through the TOPS group and never missed an outing with the TOPS ladies. A private graveside service was held in Lakeview Cemetery. An Open House to celebrate Marjorie’s life will be held at Smith Family Centre, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
