McLean, Kenneth, in his 77th year, passed peacefully at St Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia on May 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the son of the late Emmett and Gladys McLean, and son in law of the late Noe and Clara Drouillard. Precious husband of Bernadette, and loving father of Patrick (Joanne), and Cheryl (David) Sutton. Proud Grampy of Donald Sutton.  Greeted in heaven by his special angels, granddaughters Trisha and Emily (2015).

He is survived by his siblings Jim (Julie), Patricia (Al Manley) Best, Charles (Carol)(the late Pam), Leonard (Annette), Ralph (Naomi), Mary (Francis) Sauve, and Vicki McLean.  Also survived by in-laws Madeleine (Gerry) Boussey, Theresa Gillan, Marie (Ray) Burns, Elie Quenneville, Paul Drouillard, and Angela (Paul) Sylvester.  Predeceased by Brothers Patrick, Bernard and Edward.  Also predeceased by in-laws Lucille (Clare) Reeb, Jeannette (John) Ostrow, Dave Gillan, Florence Quenneville and Diane Drouillard.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Also remembered by dear friend Dave Schnurr.

Ken was a member of McGregor Knights of Columbus 2844.  Ken was retired from Chrysler and worked with the Columbian Squires in McGregor and throughout Ontario for over 30 years.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia, or to the CEE Foundation (Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital Petrolia).  The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Hospice and the Acute Care Department of CEEH for the wonderful care and support, along with Dr Crombeen, Dr. Hijazi, and Dr Kim for their care through the end of our dad’s journey.

Visitation will take place at St. Christopher Parish at 68 Union St Forest, ON, from 10 -12 on Thursday May 16th, 2024 to be followed by funeral mass at 12 noon.  Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Wyoming, followed by a luncheon.  Online condolences can be expressed at www.forestfuneralhome.com
