On Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Watford Quality Care, Emily Rosena Gaborko, formerly of Petrolia, (nee Levitt) passed away at the age of 95. Emily was predeceased by her husband Paul (2015). She will be missed by her daughters Karen Gaborko, Gayle Lapier, and Andrea (Mike) Hussey, and her grandchildren Sara, Melanie, Emily, and Connor. Emily was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Lena Levitt and her brother Donald. She was a retired teacher who taught for 27 years and was an active member of St. Paul’s United Church U.C.W. and Petrolia Fair Board. She also had a deep love of her grandchildren and deeply the loved the Christmas season.
A graveside service will be held at Hillsdale Cemetery, 3725 Petrolia Line, Petrolia on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations my be made to St. Paul’s United Church.
