Police say a young dirt bike rider suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Plympton-Wyoming, Wednesday.
A Lambton OPP news release says police, EMS and members of the Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department responded to a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a youth on a dirt bike, on Confederation Line near Fairweather Road around 6:15 p.m.
“As a result of the collision, the youth was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries,” police stated. “The youth is now in stable condition and their injuries are no longer life threatening.
“No charges have been laid at this time as the investigation is currently ongoing,” the news release added. “Updates will be provided when they become available.”
Confederation Line was closed between Plowing Match Road and Fairweather Road until 11 p.m.
