Choir Concert

Grace United Church is hosting the Adullam Concert Choir, 7 p.m. at 990 Cathcart Blvd. The evening features four choirs, including a Junior, Intermediate Ensemble, Adullam Chorale and the mass Combined Choir. Outdoor Movie Festival

 Saturday, Aug. 23

Bluewater Beachfest

A free family event Saturday and Sunday at Canatara Park Beach with world master sand sculptors creating a masterpiece on Sarnia’s lakefront, with amateur sculpting, shopping and plenty of live entertainment. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. both days.

Camlachie Barbecue

A chicken and ham barbecue will be held at the Camlachie Community Centre to mark the facility’s 35th anniversary. Happy hour 5:30, dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by music by the Borderline Band. Ticket, $15. All proceeds to youth groups. For more, call Jack at 519-869-2800.

Women’s Rugby

Sarnia hosting Canada and Team USA at Norm Perry Park as part of the 2014 CanAm Women’s U20 rugby series, featuring national team-carded athletes with Olympic dreams. Tickets $5.

Labour Day Parade
