About 500 Bluewater Power customers were without power Thursday night as a result of lightning in the area, officials said, though power was restored around 11:30 p.m.
Sarnia Police also responded to reports of a tree that fell onto a home after being struck by lightning.
"No injuries to anyone," Police noted. "City Works attending to remove tree."
Meanwhile, a Corunna resident captured this photo of a nearby fire as a result of a lightning strike in the parking lot of a townhouse complex. St. Clair Township firefighters were quick to respond.
