Three arrested in overnight home invasion in Sarnia

Journal staff Three men were arrested following an overnight home invasion in Sarnia this week. Sarnia Police say the suspects allegedly forced entry into a home in the area of McGibbon and Proctor Streets, sometime on Dec. 4.

Three men were arrested following an overnight home invasion in Sarnia this week.

Sarnia Police say the suspects allegedly forced entry into a home in the area of McGibbon and Proctor Streets, sometime on Dec. 4.

“While inside the residence, the suspects encountered the occupants and threatened them with a gun, while demanding their valuables,” a news release stated. “The suspects fled the area and as a result of a quick and coordinated effort by responding officers, they were arrested a short time later.”

Three males, ages 19, 19, and 20, face numerous charges and all have been held pending a bail hearing.
