The Big Squeeze yields juice for agency

The first ever Big Squeeze for Big Brothers Big Sisters was a success with 21 local businesses raising just over $6,700 during the city-wide lemonade stand competition.

The first ever Big Squeeze for Big Brothers Big Sisters was a success with 21 local businesses raising just over $6,700 during the city-wide lemonade stand competition.

Shell Corunna won the title for most funds raise, just over $1,000, and KKP won bragging rights for best tasting lemonade.

The Journal raised nearly $400, was a runner-up in both categories — fundraising and best lemonade — and received a citation for having the best lemonade stand.

All the money raised will support agency programs.
