Pride Flag raising celebrates Sarnia's 2SLGBTQIA+ community

Dozens of residents, community leaders and advocates gathered at Sarnia’s waterfront for the raising of the Pride flag at Paul Blundy Park, Thursday.
The ceremony was held to mark the beginning of Pride month — celebrating the identities, culture and experience of 2SLGBTQIA+ people (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and additional sexual orientations and gender identities).
Flag raisings were also held at Bluewater Health and Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Thursday.
