Lambton OPP are looking for witnesses with video from an assault that took place in Grand Bend over the weekend.
In a news release issued Tuesday, police say officers responded to an assault in the parking lot of an Ontario Street business around 2:40 a.m. on July 2.
“When officers arrived at the location, they observed a large crowd and an individual laying on the ground with a visible head injury,” police stated, adding that Lambton EMS attended and the individual was transported to hospital.
“It was learned that this individual had attempted to break up a physical altercation between two other males when he sustained this injury. While on scene, another individual showed a video of the events to officers, but departed before their information could be obtained.”
