Great Lakes students held a Youth 6-hour event Friday for Relay for Life to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Thirty-seven teams participated with 27 survivors who walked the first lap. Nearly $45,000 was raised by mid-afternoon. This year's goal is $75,000.
