A new club for adults living with a disability held its charter meeting in Sarnia on Monday.
The Aktion Club of Sarnia-Lambton was initiated in partnership with the Golden K Kiwanis Club and Community Living Sarnia-Lambton.
Aktion is the world’s largest service club for adults with a disability. Members put the club motto of “Service in Action” into practice by volunteering for traffic control and cleanup at the recent Roger Hometown Hockey event.
