Residents turned over 35 pounds of medications, including two pounds of highly addictive Oxycodone and similar opiates, during the second annual prescription drug drop off day, Sarnia Police say.
The volume of drugs collected and the number of people using the “drive-thru “collection at police headquarters were both up.
The program keeps prescription drugs off the street and safely out of the environment.
