A 17-year-old Watford teen has died following a farm accident this week, Lambton OPP say.
Police say officers were called to a report of a farm accident on Churchill Line in Watford, around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9, where an individual had suffered life-threatening injuries.
“A 17-year-old individual from Watford was pronounced deceased at the scene,” OPP said in a news release. “The death is not considered suspicious.”
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team, the Forensic Identification Unit, the Lambton Crime Unit and Victim Services of Sarnia-Lambton attended the scene, and the The Ministry of Labour is continuing the investigation.
